“Understanding climate change” – Experience exhibition is an initiative to discover the phenomenon of global warming (to be linked to the page Global warming which contains text by Mercalli) and its effects on the climate.
Hundreds of images, including shots by great masters of photography and National Geographic footage, are the precious contribution we have used to create immersive environments enriched by olfactory and sensory experiences.
Along the way, we will be moved, perhaps outraged, but we will also find stimuli to be more aware of the fact that the Earth is suffering, but is not destined to disappear. The environmental threat, on the other hand, puts the living conditions of human beings at risk. The hope is that at the end of this experiential path, we will want to play an active part, each in its own way, in fighting climate change and prevent this phenomenon from being a deadly threat to our future.
The exhibition is promoted by the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, produced by OTM Company and Studeo Group in collaboration with the National Geographic Society and under the patronage of the Italian Meteorological Society Onlus, the Campania Region and the City of Naples.
Open to the public from 11 October 2019 to 31 May 2020.
